Prototype Development

This page is devoted toward showcasing some of our efforts toward creating future innovative products for the RX-8. We thought we could share a little of what we do behind the scenes.

While we cannot broadcast what will be in our future creative pipeline, we can show you a little of the development work for some our past and present projects. Also, we thought some of these images were rather interesting, and thought you might feel the same.

Surface Scanning

Some of the images you see here show the initial work that goes into creating our products. You can also see how we are able to scan parts, or even surfaces of the car, to create wire-frame images to ensure that our parts are true to the prototype, which ensures a great fit.

Prototype Development

Unlike its mainstream sports car counterparts, the RX-8 has failed to generate significant attention from aftermarket automotive parts manufacturers'. We're striving to fill this gap as quickly as possible by providing some of the more unique RX-8 accessories online - manufacturing where we can, and finding innovative products from other manufacturers where we can't.

We could be creating products for any number of other cars, but we build to what we know. In other words, all our efforts are geared toward producing and supplying only quality products for use on the Mazda RX-8.

In fact, unlike other companies, we actually have an RX-8. This means that, at one time or another, our 8 has temporarily had all (and we mean ALL) of the products we carry mounted, screwed on, inserted into, taped to, and stuck onto it. If we hadn't tried it on our own car, we wouldn't be selling it.
